The HAMES Training Center for Emergency Response Education is a branch of the Health Advocacy & Medical Exploration Society, Inc. (HAMES), a national nonprofit organization.
The HAMES Training Center for Emergency Response Education trains all audiences in lifesaving skills, including healthcare providers, first responders, and every day personnel.

How it works.
Prerequisites:
1). Must be at least 16 years old to become a BLS Instructor and at least 18 to become an ALS Instructor. 2). Must be certified in the discipline you wish to teach. 3). Must have excellent communication skills and be confident in large groups 4). Must have a strong desire to inspire and educate others to save lives |
Becoming an American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) Instructor ~ $275
1). Become certified in the discipline you wish to teach (CPR & AED, First-Aid, and/or BLS)
2). Complete the Online Instructor Application Below
3). Complete the ASHI Instructor Candidate Application via PDF (will be sent to you)
4). Complete the Online ASHI Instructor Development Course
5). Meet with an ASHI Instructor Trainer for the Instructor Skills Session & Written Exam (approximately 4.5-5 hours)
6). Be Monitored During Your First Two Classes.
1). Become certified in the discipline you wish to teach (CPR & AED, First-Aid, and/or BLS)
2). Complete the Online Instructor Application Below
3). Complete the ASHI Instructor Candidate Application via PDF (will be sent to you)
4). Complete the Online ASHI Instructor Development Course
5). Meet with an ASHI Instructor Trainer for the Instructor Skills Session & Written Exam (approximately 4.5-5 hours)
6). Be Monitored During Your First Two Classes.
Becoming an American Heart Association (AHA) Instructor ~ $375
1). Become certified in the discipline you wish to teach (Heartsaver CPR & AED and/or BLS)
2). Complete the Online Instructor Application Below
3). Complete the AHA Instructor Candidate Application via PDF (will be sent to you)
4). Complete the Online Heartsaver or BLS Instructor Essentials Course
5). Meet with AHA Training Center Faculty for the Instructor Skills Session & Written Exam (approximately 7-8 hours)
6). Be Monitored During Your First Two Classes.
1). Become certified in the discipline you wish to teach (Heartsaver CPR & AED and/or BLS)
2). Complete the Online Instructor Application Below
3). Complete the AHA Instructor Candidate Application via PDF (will be sent to you)
4). Complete the Online Heartsaver or BLS Instructor Essentials Course
5). Meet with AHA Training Center Faculty for the Instructor Skills Session & Written Exam (approximately 7-8 hours)
6). Be Monitored During Your First Two Classes.
